Osvald Challenges

Osvald is the commander of the guards in Bersund. The authority exercised (the purpose of which is to protect the city from the forces of evil) is to entrust to anyone who hails him to perform certain tasks. Currently, there are three different types of tasks, a time will come when you kill some monsters (eg, 1050 Lions), or, you'll have to bring him a certain amount of objects (e.g. 5 nocturne hand). However, players below level 30 are unable to get collect tasks. If you let him decide what job you will do (task type 'random'), your reward will be increased by 20%. When choosing a task, you can choose the difficulty (easy / medium / hard) and length (short / medium / long) of the task.
Choosing task
To select a job go on to Osvald. The map below shows the location of the leader of the guards in Bersund.

Then, talk to him in the following manner:
Player: hi
Osvald: Hello, Player! Having troubles? The guards can help! Or perhaps, are you up for a challenge?
Player: challenge
Osvald: I love to challenge adventurers! Tell me, do you want a challenge to kill, or collect...or are you that much of a fighter that it doesn't matter and you take a random one (+30% reward)? Or do you want some information first?

At this point, you will need to decide which kind of task suits you best. The choice: collect / kill / random. In the following example, we decided to collect the task type. You will continue the conversation as follows:
Player: collect
Osvald: A collector you are, so be it. Do you want my challenge to be easy, medium or hard?

The next step is to choose difficulty of the task. The choice: easy / medium / hard. In the following example, we decided to take the difficult (hard) task. You will continue the conversation as follows:
Player: hard
Osvald: Okay, I will go hard on you then. Should the challenge be short, medium, or long??

The next step is to choose the length of the task. The choice: short / medium / long. In the following example, we decided to take a short (short) task. You will continue the conversation as follows:
Player: short
Osvald: Osvald: A short one, fine! Osvald: You wanted a challenge to collect, so collect 15 dragon wings for me. Come back and do not forget to bring them all!??

In this way, you will be given an Osvald task which aims to collect 15 dragon wings. If you want to check how many items you have collected/to collect, or how many monsters you have to kill/to kill, you will have to check your questlog (activate the key combination [Ctrl] + [Q]) and the quest list will appear. Select 'Osvald Challenges', and read the description.
Task cancellation
If for some reason you are not able to perform the tasks that you entrusted Osvald, you can cancel it by talking to him like this:
Player: Hi
Osvald: Hello, Player! Having troubles? The guards can help! Or perhaps, are you up for a challenge?
Player: challenge
Osvald: You already have a challenge! Did you complete it or do you want to cancel it? Only cowards are fleeing from their challenges, but as long as you give me a premium card, I will let you do it.
Player: cancel
Osvald: Are you sure? Really that much of a coward? Shame on you, but whatever, so be it. Hand over a premium card if you agree.
Player: agree
Osvald: Alright, coward, hereby the challenge is canceled. If you have stopped being a coward and are up for a new one, come back later and let me know.

Remember that each cancellation task is associated with a loss of one premium card. However, canceling tasks is free of charge until level 30.
Rewards
If you have done your job, and you kill a certain amount of creatures, or have collected the right amount of items (before talking to Osvald to complete, make sure that you have them in your inventory) go to Bersund, seek out Osvald once more, and you will continue to the conversation as follows:
Player: complete
Osvald: How do you wish to be rewarded? You can have experience, gold, or if you want, some training.

This time you have to choose the type of reward. You can choose payment in currency (gold), experience (experience), or an increase in skills (you are able to receive 20 hours of training for a short task, 40 hours of training for a medium task and 60 hours of training for a long task; after receiving the training from Osvald, your character will be exhausted from all types of training for the next 20, 40 or 60 hours, depending on the length of the task completed). When you select a reward, you can ask for another task from Osvald.
